I'm now playing C & C 3, Forza 2, a tiny bit of GRAW 2 and still too much PES .

Ugly as sin graphics, considering the game isn't actually that old (2005), not a mipmapped texture in sight! Thankfully Nvidia allows you to set custom graphics settings, so I've got this bumped up to 4x Aliasing, and 4x Ansiotripic filtering, and everything else set to high quality to at least smooth things out a little
It really does hint that M:UA is just using a tweaked version of this engine though, even down to that utterly bizarre split down the middle of the characters faces. Here's hoping the next version of the game gets past that uglyness.
Aye, I noticed that about Johnny the moment I started using him. I still need to finish X-Men Legends 2 if I can be bothered. I quite like the graphics though, they have a nice cartoony look about them that I think fits quite nicely

As i'm away from home the uber gaming rig can't come with me

But I am now going through all the amiga/megadrive classics on my crummy work laptop and a wireless gamepad o/

I have had a go of theme park on the DS this morning and it actually looks pretty good. This really could be a grower as it looks like the old rollercoaster tycoon. I can see myself losing a few hours on this.

Mario kart is very good as is Rayman on the DS. I think the mic is broken on my DS lite though as I can't blow up ballons on Mariokart. How do you unlock extra tracks on mariokart though? Its been years since I have played it as i've never owned anything nintendo before this

Finish the various cups of different difficulties, you usually unlock a character or track depending on what you select

Definately agree.. the cell shading effect on the characters works perfectly, its just the lack of texture detail and mipmapping that lets it down. To be honest, with everything turned up quality wise and forced ansiotropic filtering, even the shiny blurryness somehow suits in with the comic style

If you finish X-Men 2 then definitely get the first 1, I prefer the storyline of it and felt it had a little more to it (though that's possibly because it was new as I went through the games in order).
