I'm back running regularly with a bit of luck, as I've hopefully got a new regular running partner. There are a number of local loops at my new place and the Virginia Water lake is a nice round 7k. My right knee felt a bit tight afterwards and I totally forgot to stretch in all the excitement, but it's fine today. I've also been forced to ride my fixed gear bike because the weather has taken its toll on the other one but, again, my knee felt ok when I got to work which is good news. I was doing most of the work with my left leg, however. Hopefully it's now a matter of looking after everything and creeping the distance up slowly. The Brighton marathon is now only 6 months away, so I need to start stepping things up a bit.

Yeah, it's lap and mode on mine, hold for about 5-8 seconds apparently (while off), then I was able to turn it on. the master reset there is a full reset I think; quite complex for something so simple. The lap/mode is just a soft-reset.
This is for the 205 and 305; but looking at above you maybe have 110? http://www.heartratemonitor.co.uk/ga...ner_reset.html Mine was completely dead though, wouldn't even turn on or charge from usb plug or computer connection. |

Well long time no update but I'm definitely back now after the months of building mileage, strength and Wikipedia did my first 10 miler since April. Hard work with the weather though.
Did you get the Garmin all sorted BBx? |

First run of 2013 and boy was it slow :/ still 3.5miles is better than nothing and if I am honest with myself I won't be able to get the fitness back where it was till I get a job and have more stability and routine in my life.
Garmin all sorted now thanks JMC Jonny - how's the Marathon training coming along? BB x |

Gah, I did my achilles
Did 38 miles over Xmas, 5 on the 21st evening (at 22:30!), 10 on the first Sunday/second Saturday, 7 in the middle at the cousins and another 6 on Jan 1st. Not exactly excessive. It's only just stopped hurting today, hoping another weeks rest will cure it properly. |
