I thought I'd heard something along the lines of he and his gf had moved into the family home and would stay there after her death.

maybe, makes sense to keep them in their home rather than them have a fresh start else where.
I heard he had them because she was at her home and she didn't want them to see her at her worst nor did she want them to see her die.
She was living in the barn conversion so maybe they did live in their house

I hope you're right Lom for their sake. Given Jack's history of court appearances it seems he has at best anger management issues, and at worst just issues. As a result, in current circumstances I can only see staying with him as a very bad thing for the children.

I've been rather dismayed (but not surprised) by the response on OcUK. Is it now seen as a requirement that you must know someone to offer them condolences? Grrr.

PS - that might be considered off-topic, in which case I apologise for my rant.

I hope so too but I am pretty sure of it, Jade has said what a good dad Jeff is to their boys so I don't see why he wouldn't get full custody off them.
Didn't he has joint custody anyway?
I wonder if Jack will get sent to prison again this thursday as I read in the paper that he is due back because he beat a taxi driver up.

I don't think he's served out his first sentence yet so will at least be back under curfew. Whether that turns into a custodial term after this latest incident is another matter.

This is a simple case of a household name being stricken down with a terrible disease. Which household name it is has absolutely no bearing on the issue.

Does it really matter who it takes to raise awareness to you and, if so, why?
When you're facing a life threatening scenario there is no place for snob value.
Snob value lol?

I was more digging at her seemingly and almost unmatched influence, and quality of the most popular icons / celebrities today. Women should be doing this anyway and taking it seriously.

Of course it matters who raises awareness, a particular famous person will be more listened to than others. Also she said nothing about other women and their health, she requested a media circus for her children.

Only those with bad test results may possibly be faced with a life threatening scenario. Getting a smear is part of a screening process where most return healthy.

As much as I disliked the woman, nobody deserves cancer and her boys don't deserve to lose her on Mothers day of all days.

I wonder if theyre going to have to have the funeral in a hurry, because Jacks next court appearance is the end of this week (his Lawyers tried to get it deferred until later in the year) and he may well end up with another spell behind bars, so there might be a risk he wont be home and therefore miss the funeral.
