Did you drag the shorter version out of iTunes, then change the extension to m4r? It's been a while since I've done this but the instructions on that link seem very familiar.

It says to right click and then select 'convert to aac', but the option isn't there. It says if the option isn't there, to change itunes import to aac, but I can't find anywhere that will do it. I get the feeling they've removed it *shrug*. Ah well.

Woo. I can haz iPhone.
Called Tmobile, said I was leaving cos they didn't do iPhones, magically they suddenly do, but don't advertise it..... 16g phone, £90, £30 per month for 600 minutes and unlimited everything else. Easy peasy.

They don't exactly "do" the iPhone, but (unless the system has changed in the last few months or so) what they will do is have one dispatched from a company called chitter chatter. The cost was £78.51+£6.99 delivery up until a few months ago, but perhaps your deal is the result of Orange and T Mobile getting into bed with one another.

Finally got my iphone and it appears its broken. It keeps saying that it must be restored and fails to sync with itunes. Unit seems to work ok, but obviously I cant get anything onto it...
Bloody annoying. Any advice before I subject myself to another hour of phonecalls trying to sort this bloody thing out? |

Send it back and demand a new one because of all the emotional trauma they've caused you
