Interestingly I seem to have lost 0.18 GB in the restore....

Plus, syncing back 1GB of apps and 5GB of music takes a-g-e-s!

All sorted and am rather liking it.

Everything seems as nippy as before, so no loss of usability.

Folders are remarkably good, although you can only have 12 apps in a folder (which is annoying if you have more than 12 that you want to clump together). Also, they're pretty easy to create. Just drag and drop one app onto another and it creates a folder, which you can then rename/organise.

Unified inbox is quite good, will take a while to get used to though.

Haven't found all the new features yet (fairly obvious as there're meant to be oodles!) but will continue playing over the weekend

Considering how smoothly iOS4 is running on my 3G, it should be lightning fast (and have even more features!) on an iPhone 4 (which I am hoping to pick up next week...).

Is that the beta or the full version? Didn't think the full version was available yet.

02 announced earlier today that until the end of July they will only be supplying the iphone 4 to their existing customers. New customers will have to wait.

Odd move, but good to see.

Sounds handy that. Means I can keep all my crappy silly apps in one neat place. Don't like them clogging up the springboard but like to have them for a little play every now and again.

Is this for email? I assume it keeps all of your account inbox's as one? That could be handy

The unified inbox is a great feature, it combines all inboxes together so you can see all your mail if you have multiple accounts. I'm really looking forward to iOS4 on the iPad so I get the same feature.

If you double tap the home button and scroll all the way to the left, you can lock the phone into portrait mode, that's dead handy as well.

I like folders but I found that I'm using less apps than before, previously I'd flick through the screens and kick in apps just because they were in my field of view, with folders I'm having to make a conscious effort to go into them and look for apps.

I've got an iPhone 4 on order from Apple. I sold my 3GS and have just had a nice couple of days working away so I'm tanked up on mileage expenses

O2 are definitely doing the best out of the operators to keep current customers.

Do you have to use the unified inbox? They're a pet hate of mine.

Apple Store quidco - 3% - so that's £15 of the difference back.

No, it's a toggle.

They seem to be changing the T&C almost daily, at the moment it lists a number of products that you can't get cashback on, the iPhone isn't one of them but the iPod Nano is. Earlier this week the iPhone was included in that list and a while ago I had cashback on a nano!
