Here's my Golf GTi on the final lap of the first endurance race I've done. About 55 minutes, the car is unmodified and I started from the back of the grid. I lapped everyone but those in second and third, yay!

Still one of the best looking cars I have ever seen.

Hired a driver to do the endurance races for me so netted a few quid last night and this morning. Just stick him in a car and let him go for an hour.
I'm not going to be doing this all the time though. I don't want to have a massive stack of money that I can just chuck around. I want to work my way through the game and gradually buy cars and upgrade them.

I've only bought two cars, the Lotus and the heavyweight thing that was mentioned earlier in this thread so I could do the last of the Prooving ground races to get the Achievement. Due to doing the upgrade thing I've found my wallet sitting between 50k and 100k most of the time although it's higher than that now having done an Endurance last night.
Guess it's spend time! I want a Dodge Charger.

Feek
I would stongly consider doing the factory spec races, they free up some good cars and the cars you need to buy to enter are cheap because you can't mod them. I did the MX5 race on moderate AI without too many problems and the reward car is pretty handy I can't remember which race gives you the abflug RX7 but thats a great tool and I've won most of the semi pro races by upgrading it progressively. One of the issue with games like this is the progression and having enough money to buy cars and move on, I wonder how many races you will be able to enter/ win with the charger in comparision to say a light quick jap car. I am, MB, I'm slowly working my way through the races and seeing what they unlock and what that unlocking opens up for further racing. I think I've unlocked about 30% now so am coming along quite nicely.
The feeling of want for a Charger is just for a car to play around with, it's not for any specific race. It's just a shame it's not a '69

Moneywise I'm at level 28 or so and have well over 1 million credits, simply as I've only bought one car and then done enough upgrades to my current cars to give me whatever edge I need for a race, so I've never spent that much money. Having that much money will help when I decide to start collecting cars from each region, buying the ones I can't win.

Anybody know anything about these? http://www.mysupido.com/
Got one on order from Amazon, thought it was worth a punt for £20.
