Off to somewhere near Chester Le Street in County Durham this morning to a supplier for an audit. Staying overnight and coming back tomorrow. Bah! To make things 10 times worse, they've given me a grotty Kia Cee'd as a hire car. The indicator stalk is on the wrong side ffs!!!! Grumble moan grumble moan....

Sitting at Heathrow airport keeping myself amused on t'internet as I have 90 minutes until my flight. Not only was the traffic good this morning but I checked in and was through security within 5 minutes of arriving at the terminal

Really wish I'd managed some sleep last night though [eyes like piss holes in the snow smilie]

At Heathrow flippin' 'eck!

Heading up to Aberdeen tonight for a two day "Managing People" course on Weds and Thurs - should be a bundle of laughs

Never mind, I leave Aberdeen Thursday night and head down to Chelmsford to drink twiggy beer

I'm being very sad. Got the week off work as holiday and I'm using it to learn the perl programming language.. or at least attempt to anyway
Hawaiian lass should be up on Friday so a long weekend of London sightseeing is probably on the books

Still got ouchy elbow from the fall the other day but I think it's starting to show good signs.

Anyway, in addition to the ongoing chuck-out (currently have an 18x9 inch 'bale' of shredded paper with another one due tomorrow), I've been baulking at my £90 insurance premium hike.

So, I took my business elsewhere. £75 less than I am already paying and £165 less than I would be paying, plus £85 quidco. Sorted. \o/

After trying to drive around Nottingham this morning I have come to the conclusion that, Nottingham sucks for driving. The sat nav couldn't keep up with all the changes the council have made to the roads so spent a good 30 minutes trying to find my customer. Had a nice pub lunch paid for by the company so that made up for it
