Sniper rifle (either) + headshot = dead. Anything else is pretty much usless. I did use a Plasma pistol for the blue armoured ones, only took ~ 10 shots.

Restarted Halo 3 on Heroic. You really do appreciate the weapons and level design more. No grabbing whatever and charging in. It makes you think about what you'll need to get through and makes you think about your route to get through it. At one point I ran out of ammo and was faced with a brute chiefton with a hammer. So I pushed the Arbiter off a ledge to fight him, and he died! I was left to fight this guy alone with no ammo. Lucky I tricked him, got ammo and won. I just spent 1 hr 30 mins doing lvl1 and another hour and 30 mins making screenshots from it

A friend of mine's just described Halo 3 as 'greater than the gift of life'.....you Halo fans are weird
Although his enthusiasm is rubbing off on me slightly.

I wouldn't say we're any weirder than your average foaming fanboy I don't find that many games that really really hook me. I can't really think of any thats made me want to jump back in and replay it on a harder setting. I want to get some skulls. Theres one that makes it so when you headshot a grunt he explodes into confetti and children cheer. The theater is amazing though. You can watch your game from another angle and see what happens. Every single game, sp and mp, is recorded.
