Like I said, just not been fussed as there hasn't been anything on the 360 that I've desperately wanted to play

Started Valkyria yet Haly?
I'm currently finishing off Gear of War 1, i've absolutely torn through it on Hardcore by myself (just finishing up Chapter 4), not even going to bother trying Insane as it appears no one's around to coop it with these days and i bet it'd be very hard solo. Next up: Forza 2 heavy playage.

It's awesome fun on Insane If I can blag some 48 hour codes I'd go through it with you
I tried the 360 for the first time last night and had a little crack at worms, was good fun.

Yup Midway through Chapter 4 at the moment Got stuck on one battle though but just need to research some strategies I think.
Certainly some challenging combat, but I like it. Makes a pleasant change from the usual RPG battles

The storyline starts relatively slow, but iirc it explodes at around the chapter 10 mark. Combat is frustrating at first but as you learn about the capabilities of each class you learn to exploit them, i remember when i first started playing i ignored the shock trooper class nearly entirely but now i couldn't picture myself playing without them.

Oh and, keep in mind, if a character is wounded on the field you only have to worry if an enemy gets to them before you do. If you get to them and call in a medic that character will be available and unharmed on the next map. On top of that there's another difference; all of your highly ranked officers (the ones with a badge next to their name in the select screen) will never die permanently, even if an enemy gets to them before you do they will still be available on the next map so you can be a little more bold with those guys.
