Only at some hospitals. Others are in a contract that will cost them millions to get out of.

If you are going to post opening times on your website can they at least be accurate or remove them from the website. For example a local chemist:
Saturday opening hours: Store - 09:00 - 17:30 Pharmacy - 09:00 - 17:30 With a headache from hell that has lasted for more than 24 hours and you know standard painkillers won't help, you check the website to make sure the pharmacy is open. Get dressed up for the cold and walk through the freezing wind to get to the chemist. Only to be told that they can't sell anything from the pharmacy becuase the pharmacist is on lunch!!! Then get offered a painkiller I already have in the house or could have bought from any corner shop. I don't mind that the pharmacist is on lunch, he is entitled to his break. At least though you could have they courtesy to show the correct pharmacy opening times. Either that or just don't advertise them and I'll know to phone and check instead. It's all a bit silly too really (and yes I know it's the law so it has to be done this way) as they just go over and show him the packet and he says OK without there being any check of anything anyway. |

At the risk of offending some people on here. People who say "Yaaayyyy, it's snowing - brilliant" annoy me. Snow is terrible stuff, it inconveniences a great many people; the elderly can't get out and about, people with wheelchairs or prams can't get their wheels through it, transport is disrupted, flights are cancelled etc .... the list goes on and on.
NB: I may be slightly bitter since my relief may not make it to the rig in time for our crew change on Wednesday due to Heathrow being shut, meaning I have to stay on the rig a few days extra (and it'll be busy too).
