I've got a tiny cut on my ear - I was fighting with Idris.
I'm going to call it Pigmo

I slipped down the stairs to my flat on this ice this morning - hit every step on the way down... amazingly all I got was a bit of a shock, how I didn't crack my head open I don't know... good thing I'm well padded! That looks like a corker Sinead!

Ouch!
I do the walking into things trick too. My favourite is catching the edge of desks/chairs/doors with my toes (while unprotected). Haven't ended up on my arse for a while so I must be due for that soon. |

I can highly recommend arnica cream for bruises. Works wonders and reduces them fast. Was an essential thing to keep around when I was doing Judo, I forever came home with bruises

I'm almost at the end of my 4 weeks on the rig and, as always, I'm getting tired and my concentration is slipping. In the last few days I've managed to pierce my thumb to the bone with a piece of wire, which swelled up. I've also managed to clatter one knee twice off the edge of the drawer of the desk in my cabin and the other knee off the door frame of the en-suite toilet/shower room. At the moment, I'm like the walking wounded. It's a good job I get off the rig tomorrow, I shudder to think what would happen if I had to stay another week.
I hope your bruise gets better soon. If you want someone to rub some of Garp's ointment into it, I know of a volunteer...........
