Whoever restocked the sandwich chiller in our local Tescos might need a telling off. Three stacks of pasta salads front to back. They got the front one right - 21st Dec, but put the 22nd Dec stock behind the 23rd Dec stock.

Saves the customers reaching to the back of the shelves though I s'pose
They constantly go on about rotation but when I get in the shelves are ******, First hour last night I spent sorting the juices out, I moved around 130 one litre cartons around as the front were Feb5th & the back 25th Decemeber
It's a right pain in the arse as they are on us to sign an agreement on rotation but the shift before us don't do theres
On top of that Every single customer I have seen shop picks from the back of the shelves
If they don't & I like the look of them I walk pass them & whisper "Reach to the back for the best"

I'm surprised just how many people don't spend the few extra seconds it takes to reach to the back. Obviously, if everyone did it there wouldn't be any point in doing rotation.

We need to spread the word as Rotating jam packed shelves sucks the big one

Worth noting it can make the difference of up to 5 days

Also Double check your meat as they take this right up to the Limit & even if brown if in date it gets sold, Reach a little & get meat that will last a week rather than a day.

Can you freeze cream?

I don't really bother with dates. If I'm eating it in a few days it doesn't matter and if I'm not it's going in the freezer anyway

I used to spend my Sunday mornings at Morrisons doing that and it was the least favourite part of the job.

And Vix, you can freeze cream. My Mum used to get fresh clooted cream sent up from Devon and freeze that without a problem
