The series of Last Man Standing that just finished was top drawer and still on iPlayer I believe. If you watch just one go for the water buffalo racing.
Big Bang Theory is great.
If you never saw the first season of Murder One track it down and treat yourself.
Meerkat Manor is the best soap opera on television.

And for outright rofls there's Summer Heights High and Flight of The Conchords.

You'll need to catch it on a re-run, but I find it reallly entertaining to watch these "tough guys" who take no crap get steamrollered over by the Army.

Top quality viewing IMHO.
