Had friday off work, did shopping for the rat show, watched ghost whisperer, did housework, generally started getting organised, cleaned the rats who were bring entered and trimmed claws.
Saturday I cooked off the quiches and the sausage rolls which had overtaken my freezer (its so empty now). There were 52 sausage rolls, 25 cheese and bacon quiches and 20 cheese and onion. Nearly forgot to take the bacon out of the freezer. Finished watching Ghost Whisperer and started on season 2 of Ice Road Truckers, had a 2 hour hot bubblebath. Sunday I was up at 7:30 making sure I hadn't forgotten any of the show stuff, sorted out my rats and the stuff I needed for them, headed off to get to the show for 9:30 and from then it was all hands on deck. Got the rats into their show tanks and sorted and then ran the kitchen, mainly cooking bacon rolls and cheese toasties. At the end there were only 4 cheese and bacon quiches left unsold so I think they were enjoyed. Didn't sell as many bacon rolls as we did last year (possibly because of the quiche availability) so I have about 20 rashers of bacon in the fridge which can't be frozen, has to be eaten and I'm home alone tonight and tomorrow (thinking pasta, bacon, mushrooms, onions and cheese sauce - can do loads and share it with the rats) Show wise all 4 got good critiques but also Magrat got a couple of certificates - she came 3rd in the Pet class (out of 32) and then 2nd in the doe pet class (out of 9). Its been asked if I wash her in pantene as she is really soft and smells lovely but that is just the way she is I'm not back to work until tomorrow (I had lots of random days leave to use up so lots of long weekends) so today I'm going to finish clearing up the show stuff, watch some more Ice Road Truckers and then I have kick boxing tonight. |

Yup great weekend
Saturday dug out a bit of the garden for use as a vegetable patch and built a compost box, watched a bit of sport, chilled out then BBQ'd up some nice steaks! Sunday again pottered around in the garden then watched England dispatch the French at rugby (Sorry Will ), followed by a nice roast dinner at my friends house. V nice indeed!

Friday got extremely drunk in town, despite your thoughts to the contrary this doesnt happen often and was very welcome! Got in some time after 3am I think.
Saturday was surprisingly ok, didn't feel too bad so did some pottering about, did the horse, took Sophie to an overnight guide thing and took the other two for a Chinese. Sunday, moved the horse to a new yard, more pottering, 34-10, made fajitas and went to work, got in at half 6 this morning and had a couple of hours kip. Just off to see horse now, then O2 later for some Snow Patrol goodness

We were there on Saturday. I'm not a big fan of the band or the venue but they put on a really good show.
The encore was . Sorry, Will. English rugby has been in the doldrums so long that you'll have to forgive me skipping in circles after a big win. Now if only Bris could dig their way out of the mire.

Nah it's ok I understand, to be honest England played so well I'd have been skipping myself, especially with the previous clashes between France and England. It was an epic win for England.
