That's a fairly standard sidelight bulb, but a lot of spares places don't keep them any more. Motorbikes use them too. 3W or 5W.
Try here, they keep every auto bulb under the sun: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/category/90 I reckon it's one of these.com: http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/673

Without measuring it they look right yeah Except tis bulb is 10w, i should really know this but i don't, as long as its 12v and below the wattage it won't really make any difference will it? Maybe slightly dimmer at worst?
I'm gonna find somewhere local i can buy it though i don't fancy farting around online for 50p! Now i know i'm after a minature bayonet lamp, probably a BA7, i should be fine! After googling around i'm maybe thinking i might just pay a little extra and get the LED replacement version if i can. Start with the task of replacing all the little lights that keep going out in my car with LED's, unsure if this is a good idea or not really. I don't plan on selling the car any time soon and it would be helpful. On that note i'd totally forgot (because it's been behaving recently) but it would appear that i have a dodgy contact/earth on my front headlight as well, so another little job with some spirits or something... |
