The Laphroaig is the Cairdeas expression which was released last year supposedly exclusively to members of the "Friends of Laphroiag" club (I'm a member). Apparently, there wasn't much of an uptake so they've taken to selling it off outwith the club. I didn't get a bottle when it was first released as I was skint at the time but I've been meaning to try it so I've got a bottle now. It's a conglomeration of several different expressions consisting largely of 17yo whiskies but some older and some younger. I'll be trying that later too.

So you didn't go to the whisky shop, choose something but then go to every other whisky shop in town before returning to the original shop to buy the first bottle you saw?

No. That would be pointless and tedious. I went into one whisky shop, purchased some whisky and then took it home to enjoy it, rather than trawl around other shops looking at the same bottles of whisky arranged differently.

Stan, you are my hero.
By the way, if I wax my legs for cycling, does this count for or against?

I really need to find somewhere I can put my dartboard where putting holes in the walls/furniture won't get me in trouble.

I want a darts board myself. We have one somewhere that was given to my gran at the final of some old darts match, Eric Bristow vs John Lowe IIRC.
I play darts quite regular with my friend whilst waiting on the Snooker table, really enjoying it now. Still haven't hit a 180 though (though have put 3 darts in both treble 1 and treble 5). |

Generally not an issue, apart from the odd wayward shot when going for doubles. Bounceouts are more of a problem.
