i'm not a massive fan of her tracks, but they lend themselves to some proper grimey remixes which i'm a big fan of.

In For The Kill should have been a one-hit wonder. Bulletproof is more of the same but not as good, and with a terrible chorus line. Mercury Music Prize? Mercury Poisoning Please.

I thought La Roux was the band name.
Is she a solo artist? |

My friends car was the one used in the 'In for the Kill' video I quite like the music but it's the kind of stuff I like anyway.

Life imitates art or vice versa?
Still quite liking listening to La Roux but I suspect if I listened to it too much I might start to dislike it.

But as Karbon says, her tracks have got some excellent remix potential - the Skream remix of 'in for the kill' was a very dirty bit of stuff I enjoyed immensley when Annie Mac dropped it into her Glastonbury Mashup. I heard her plugging another remix of an upcoming single 'I'm not your toy' which had a grimey dubstep mix which I can only describe as an excellent little bit of filth.
