As per Lostkat I would look for someone who could do it for you, there are a few on the NSRA and Rodsnsods forum who most people use....though I used someone from E-Bay to bring a W202 Merc up from the south coast a couple of years back (or actually....did I use Leons bloke...cant remember!!)
Think you did. I know you at least got a quote from him.

Well, if you're planning on stripping it anyways, is there any way to get the engine and transmission out before the move?

That would be one hell of a lot of the weight gone and then the rest would be quite easy to move.

Plus the advantage of the engine and transmission being out could go on a small trailer by themselves. And already be out to do cleanup and upgrades with ease...

Wish I lived on that side of the pond. My Jeep would have no problem moving it so long as the trailer had brakes of its own. My Jeep has a full class 3 hitch and is already wired with a brake controller.

I wish I lived in the states. All that empty land and less PC bull crap.

Couldn't think of anything better than have a large plot of land. Being able to go hunting and off road biking.

Not very practical removing engine where it is. But not a bad idea, paid to get it moved. Then when it's stripping down have a good look at trailers and stuff.

Heh, I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with one assigned parking space. LOL

I had to wait until Sunday to do the brakes on my Jeep as one of the apartment complex's rules is no working on cars. But there was no way I was taking the Jeep over to someone else to have $30 worth of parts installed for $300 when I could do the work myself...

It sucks. $1200 a month on a 2 bedroom apartment plus full utilities and unreliable internet.

All in an area that the job market in Baghdad for a Republican Guard has better opportunities.
