I looked up a basic recipe and it said to add sugar. However As I missed the buter. Didn't put any sugar in add a little more syrup, some water and some veg oil. So we will see how it comes out. It was actually dark chocolate orange as well.
Although you can't tell in he pic. I made the white and dark choc up separate so there's clusters of each. Now to wait an hour or so till set

Not that i'm bragging, but this stuff does taste a lot nicer than most of the caramel shortbread I buy from the shops. Was really simple to make as well.
