Is it just me who knows what a "Regular coffee" is? There's a coffee shop over the road which I'm never going back to. Regular coffee please. Do you want it venti? Err no thanks, I'm sure that means super size or something. Or do I have to specify the size in another language, despite being in England, and all my life had no discrepancy with our sizes. So you want it a bit skinny? What does that mean? Is it in a tall thin cup? I just want a regular cup of coffee. Regular comes in different sizes. How is that even possible? I wanted regular as a size, do you not do regular sized cups? How about if I say medium? Our sizes are Short, Tall and Venti. What the fu... Well which one would you say is a normal sized? Tall I'll have a tall coffee then.

Choices I hates them.
Was chatting with the Feekster last night & as soon as we started it was like mind melt, Then onto Billys vids & we all melted together in our Hate of the dreaded choices. I goes to the market stool every week to get my sucky sweets for work, I look & just see a Blur of goodys, What would you like Bloke says. I stare at them a while & then stare at him for a while, Then I say Same as last week When I am looking for music it Blows my mind Whenever I go into a shop it does the same, Big Bang as soon as I spot all the Dreaded choices In the shop I work it is completely mental, Not only do you get choices in types but also choices of the same thing in different sizes WTF !!! Mini Jaffa cakes WTF WTF WTF !!! |

It's even worse in the US when they don't seem to want to give you just a plain black coffee. Last time I was in LA (and hopefully the last time I'll be there) I went into a coffee shoip and asked for a large black filter coffee figuring that it was an unambiguous request. Seemingly not. It took three attempts for them to give me one without milk and whipped cream. |

I've just been 'pre-shopping' as I need to choose a rucksac for going away. I'm going again on Friday as I'm off in the afternoon, I don't think this is going to be one of those 'man shops' (i.e. go into shop, pick item, pay, go home).
