I remember seeing a BBQ special where he cooked fish in banana leaves the traditional way in the sand on the beach. Literally started a fire, threw the fish in and covered it up. Awesome.

I'm sorry but until you've got the coroners report in hand you can't make assumptions like that. He was also a heavy smoker, and that too can result in heart problems, along with dozens of other factors galore, from family history, or high blood pressure, through to high levels of cholesterol, or even something as simple as lack of B vitamins..

The truth is there are so many things it could have been, it's pointless fixating on one and demonising it before any real evidence is available.

I was only stating an opinion. I thought this was a free place and people can speak how they thought.

It's highly likely that his drinking didn't help, which is all I think Tink means. Even so, it's a shame, and Garp, you're right, the results of the autopsy might return something completely different!

Sad news. I really liked Floyd and found him very entertaining.

RIP.

I was incredibly shocked to find out yesterday that he was only 43 and the booze had 'done its damage'.

I was less shocked to find out that I'm a gullible tw@t who shouldn't believe everything people say
