AVforums. There's a thread in the Xbox section where you can ask for a 48 hour code and some kind soul might just have one spare. I have to say though, plenty of people sign up just to get a code and don't often get one. I've been a regular poster for years so hopefully I will
Ahh, I'll have a look, ta. I've been a member for years but just haven't posted there much.

Why not just create a new Xbox account on your 360 and use the months worth of Live to get the demo?

TBH, this whole paying-for-online-gaming-and-selected-downloads crap is the primary reason my Xbox lies relatively untouched in the living room while I game on my PC upstairs.

I don't want to get in depth over this again, but if I could get the same level of online service across the board on PC as I do on Xbox360 for the small fee of £25-£40 for a year, then I would.

Got one now, but been told the 48 hour codes, although Gold, don't allow for downloads, just playing online. Might give it a whirl anyway and see what happens.

Actually I heard that as well. Your gamertag doesn't actually turn gold, you remain silver bug flagged as allowed to play online (like they do on Games for Windows).

1 track, Camino Viejo de Montserrat (tight course up in the mountains, 1.8m, 2 laps) and 5 cars, Mini John Cooper Works, Evo X GSR, Ferrari California, Audi R8 V10, 911 GT-3 RSR

Looks very pretty, cars drive well and there are enough driver aids to make all but the most ham fisted go quickly right from the start.

Probably only a couple of hours gameplay so those who were planning to wait to upgrade their XBox Live subs may want to wait.

Cheers Del. Think I'll wait a week rather than renew my subs now.
