This. In summary it's touch screen for being the sake of touch screen IMO. I sold it and went back to my old 6300

The alarm goes off when it feels like, and not for the time I set it to go off, meaning I can't rely on it.
The internet crashes at least 20 times a day (thats not me exaggerating) where it goes from the page I am on, back to the home screen, trust me it gets very annoying. I was unable to send text messages for a week due to a bug it apparently had, which was fixed when I took it in a shop and they did a factory restore, this meant I lost lots of bits I had saved on the phone (text messages, and notes etc - kept everything on the memory card, but still annoying nonetheless) It freezes where the only thing I can do to unfreeze it is take the battery off and restart the phone. It randomly disconnects phone calls when I am in the middle of them, and its nothing to do with signal strength. It has this annoying thing where when I put a new word into the predictive dictionary, when I then go back to keep typing it adds on the last suggestion of what I was trying to type before I added it, meaning I have to delete it before I can carry on (minor thing but trust me it gets annoying) And the last one is the battery can go from half gone to where its telling me its run out completely in a matter of minutes, even though I haven't used the phone a lot between it going down to half gone. .......And breathe! |

Right now I think the Hero is the only real iPhone rival, with the Motorola Droid a close second. The Nexus phone looks like it's going to be good, but whether a smartphone is "good" or not depends on the customer and their requirements/expectations.

I keep looking at getting a 2nd hand phone of the bay. But all the good phones are so expensive. what ever you do avoid all LG phones. They are pants.
