Completely unrelated to meteors, but I've recently found out the layby I use for a swift kip on the way home sometimes is a dogging site...

We have one by us just off-road from the forest referred to locally as the 'gay-by'. I'll let you figure out why...

Eclipse eclipsed here too, as expected. Same as last time (though at least we saw something last time).

Going to join the local astro club on Friday. Then they'll be asked lots of idiotic questions from me about telescopes. Parents want one and I want to try astro-imaging. Two birds, one stone.

Would have been a lovely morning for an eclipse today. Oh well.

Apparently there was a meteor shown live last night which the folks on the show completely missed. Haven't seen it, but it's recorded so I'm hoping it's LOL-worthy!
