I still think some of the best things they do are the races. Must be plenty of mileage (ho ho) left in that, always new places to go and things to try. Even relatively simple things like the race across London in a car, boat, bike and bus/train become entertaining.
I still like TG, I just think it'd be just as entertaining without things being 'accidentally' set on fire.

^^ me three. I've always enjoyed TG but I hate the feeling that I'm supposed to believe this ****e they're doing now :/
It's just embarrassing. The show won't be boring without the made up 'Ooooops!' moments, in fact, it will be far more entertaining because I won't be switching off, feeling insulted!

It's not great and they plainly ran out of ideas a couple of years ago but it's still about the best thing on TV, which says more for the rest of the ****e on there than anything else tbh.

^^^ very true. I watched the "endurance race" episode yesterday on Dave, when they raced the diesel beemer. Now that was a great episode. Shame we don't get anything like that anymore.

I also really enjoyed the 'cultural episodes' - notably the Laos/Vietnam episode- STUNNING scenery complimented with light humour.
However, they could still do without the 'accidents'.
