Indeed.

Not that it will bring anyone who lost their lives that day (or after in Tony Blands case) back, but massive well done to all those that fought this long, and massive respect to all of those who never gave up the fight for the truth.

I hope this reopens the inquests, and brings new prosecutions, its the least anyone connected with this deserves.

I rather hoped British politicians might be a little more sensible than American ones, but less than 24 hours later Jack Straw has already taken the opportunity to try to turn this into an anti-tory thing.

Damage Limitation: He's obviously going to be implicated in any 'cover-up' assumptions that are made because he failed to find the truth. Smacks of 'it wasn't my fault!'.

Milliband already apologised to that effect yesterday, so I think anything that the long-forgotten-about Mr Straw has to say will be treated with the contempt it deserves.
