That's still only an HD ready TV. There's a 50" full HD LG plasma TV for £549 on the main site with built in Freeview.

That one has built in freeview too - anyway, I wasn't suggesting he should buy that one, just pointing out that it's not even the best deal available on the site pre-Black Friday. THere are probably hundreds.

Back on track though I haven't seen anything I'm overly interested in yet but the Clint Eastwood 35 films set looked interesting but I was asleep when the deal started so I dont know what price it was. Although if they do a PS3 deal like the Xbox deal they did last year(maybe year before) then I'll try to get that.
