I use it for anything that I might need in multiple places; timesheets & similar work docs, CVs/Job Apps, cycling routes, cooking recipes. Lots of things that I might need.

Just plugged my phone in today & got the option to sync with dropbox and now I've gone from 4, to 5Gb

I use it for pretty much the same. Comes in very handy and is also good for syncing documents etc between devices. Means I can access my most used files from any of my devices as well as online from anywhere I want.

PS: Don't use DL's referral link people, use mine

I'm up to 9.6GB now

I keep recording short videos of the wall and then uploading them. I'll keep doing it until my space stops increasing

I can't do anything about it just now. The Internet connection on the rig is so slow, it would take forever to upload any meaningful amount of data.

I'll just have to wait until I get home to utilise my XXL broadband. Should have it my space maxed out in no time

I got bumped up to 6.9gb today. Tempted to stick some big mountain biking panoramics on there to see if they'll boost me up some more!

Found my first downside of DB today though. I've been using it as a testing area for a little bit of Javascript. When I tried to get some screenshots for browser compatibility testing browsershots.org limits the number of requests from a single domain & it would seem everyone was trying to do the same!

Odd, it's jumped up to 10.6 this morning despite not adding any more pics.

I uploaded just over 5Gb of pics and vids last night and my storage limit only went up by 1.5Gb

Suppose I can just delete them from folder and upload them again tonight

EDIT: OK ignore me just noticed the 2 big vids are still uploading.

You can delete items in the folder but you'll have to take new pics/vids to upload as it knows what has been previously uploaded and will not do it again
