Yeah I mentioned that some of the questions don't cover all options and apparently he is aware of it and it's been done specifically. They said they'd rather have a negative then a false positive, and 'sometimes' would be disregarded as a 'never' anyway as they are only interested in the 'always' group for that particular question. Seems there are particular figures he has been asked to garner with the specification that there was only certain options being factored in, so people had to choose the one that best fit.

No option for sometimes, or take the time to research myself (which I guess would be a no).

Well, I do sometimes, but sometimes I don't bother. It depends what I'm buying. Now his results will show that I "never" use such sites, when, in reality, I sometimes do... just not always.

As I said it's a very specific user base they're looking for and the survey is specifically tailored to find those answers. 'Sometimes' wouldn't help, so when presented it will qualify answers by saying ' when only these options were offered, xx number chose this'.

Gotta remember, when doing surveys, they often don't want the whole picture, just answers to specific questions. Sometimes they leave out alternatives to get the responses they want so they can present a certain type of view with supporting evidence.
