I was thoroughly disappointed with about 80% of this. Most of the biggest laughs were for swearing, and the applause for when famous faces appeared on the stage. The three minutes Eddie Izzard got were very good, Al Murray was OK but used mainly recycled stuff, and the unknown (to me) Irish guy was surprisingly good too. The only highlights for me were Natalie Imbruglia joining in the mime act (and looking hot), the Boosh and their swordfighting, and, god help me, Russell Brand. But only because he didn't come across as a complete ****.
This sort of thing should be funnier by a long way.

Yeah, overall I wasn't that impressed by it, especially when you consider it next to 'We know where you live'.
When that dodgy yank woman started talking about her dead grandmother I couldn't watch :/

High points for me were;
Actually laughing at Eddie Izzard Roni Ancona (her Ruby Wax and Lorraine Kelly are excellent). Al Murray (although I agree with Belmit regarding recycling - most of his bit was "old hat"). The Irish guy (can't for the life of me remember his name ). Boosh - I liked the "Dark penetrating theatre" bit and the swordfighting (especially when the sound effects person cocked it up). Overall, I wasn't hugely impressed. I remember the very first one which had me ROFLing most of the way through. Stan

I'v got the original Secret Policeman's Balls on DVD. Find them massively funnier and generally more entertaining than the modern ones.

Is that the one with Rowan Atkinson just doing the roll call? Very funny.

I totally missed this but then again it doesn't sound like I missed all that much. Was the guy miming to Torn called David Armand? If so I think this is the video of the routine from a few years ago.
