I have MOHAA and all the add on packs but I've never played them mainly because they don't work on xp x64.

I wonder if the trouble with the graphics that I have is the same problem as Feek is having as it is an ATi card....

My problem was a gamma/brightness one. Every time the scene changed I had to bomb out to the menu and reset the levels as it all went very dark. There was no patch at the time, may be now I guess.

OOps, just found the package - I've got CoD United Offensive, is that CoD 2? I don't think it is.

Nope, that's the expansion pack for CoD1

I downloaded the original CoD, played it through to the end, it was the first ever game of that kind I've finished.
After that, I bought it!

Then I bought United Offensive and couldn't play it due to the graphics problem.

So I'll trial CoD2, if I can get on with it, I'll buy it.

An online buddy sent me a copy of this for nowt when it came out. He got it free with a card and had it anyway so sent it up to me.
Great single player game but the ending is absolute dog ****e and totally unsatisfying ( sp? sry )

Online is good for an old fashioned thrash about style FPS but online battles have moved on now so it doesn't get much of my time.
Every now and again i pop on for some Garrand pwnage or Tommy spray but it doesn't hold my attention for long.

Original COD was awesome, i played that to death, clanned it, leagued it loved it.

Spookily, I was just speaking about this today with a colleague. I was saying that I would need to fish it out when I get home and have another go at it. I started it a while ago but never really went very far.

We have been idle for a lot of the last few days due to weather so I've managed to finish Prey on both difficulty settings (must be a pretty easy game if a noob like me can finish it in 10.5 hours in easy mode). I enjoyed it although it was rather short - will look forward to the sequel.
I've had loads of comments about the graphics on the M1710 with Prey - stunning

I got £250 in vouchers from a job we did on this rig last year and one of the shops that accept them is HMV - looks like a trip to Aberdeen is on the cards when I get back
