I must just be odd as I like both white and red wine. I'm still getting into my whiiiiiiiiiiine as I don't have anyone to drink it with My parents and sister don't drink so I don't really have that much of an opportunity to drink it. I do try and stick to more expensive wines just out of preference (8 pounds minimum) so that I don't get a nasty bottle

Me neither. Medium/dry is my preference.

PS - for the Essex locals (or indeed for anyone else), I can recommend New Hall.

Yes it was Stow Maries I was living iirc, the place with the cool country/farm shop. I had a completely barmy landlady. I was working early shifts at GEC in Basildon during the summer so it was an excellent drive back home, grab some shorts and head for the sea at Maldon after work. I really miss those days.

You had me seriously worried there for a few secs, New Hall is a private girls school / college over near Sainsbury's near the boreham interchange.

Bloody long driveway as well to make a getaway down *whistles*

They used to be one of my customers when I was out on the road still, many years ago. I remember going there on the last day of term one year and they were doing a St. Trinians thing.

Oh yes I know exactly what you mean. Back when I was in college you would often find me over there. Gotta find out where they all hang out once they have gone through uni
