ah cool. well, touch wood, i've only got those 3 points...it's just for the record because i was having a debate about it

can't wait til my 5 years is up...it wont take as long to fill out my car insurance quote form!

TS10 is something that wont be held in the same regard as an SP30 by your insurance company. Your first 3 gold stars for an SP30 are usually ignored or dont affect your insurance premium. Gold stars for darting through red lights are taken a bit more seriously.

Will be interesting to see how this affects your premium!

when i renew, the MX5 will cost me about £650...but as Gilly, that's age, points etc

Wow. I would have thought a modified rag top would have been a bit more risky... I guess hot hatches like yours are maybe more desireable. What insurance group is it? I do have 2 advanced driving certificates which I decalre - so I'm sure they help. 9 years no claims, and 9 years no points so I'm sure that helps too. Still surprised how much the 172 is though!

Cheap, fast, relatively common and I imagine they get nick/ crashed quite a bit.
