Baaaah veg is easy to cook, either fry it up in a curry or pasta sauce, or boil it and have it with meat and chips. Or eat salad, easy really. Saying that I do not eat nearly enough veg at uni.

That's fine once, it just gets boring after the first day :undecided:
Then again that's why i'm trying to figure out more things to do with it because I get bored easily with the same thing all the time.
So I'm getting there

I'm digging through all my mental recipes (in more ways than one in some cases) for interesting ones for Jen. Fun!

Have you tried stuff like stuffed peppers/aubergine with rice and mince or cous cous, or grilled/chargrilled courgette/salad peppers.

They are always pretty tasty and easyish to do. A pack of value peppers some rice and seasoning isnt expensive either!

I'm not that keen on peppers really, don't mind the odd slice in something but not a whole pepper Same with courgettes.
Main things I like are brocolli and carrots, but I think as with the majority of food it's just a matter of eating them a reasonable amount but not so much that I get bored.
Short attention span in life must spread to food as well

Brocolli and cabbage pan fried in butter with crushed garlic.

Very quick and very yummy as a side dish for something meaty.

Wow! That was *seriously* tasty!

Went up and had a look at what I had in. Amongst all the usuals like soup and beans I found I had a tin of beansprouts, a pack of straight to wok noodles, some hoi sin sauce and a steak in the freezer. Bingo!

Woked it right and good (like you know you should) with the beansprouts and noodles while superheating a pan to flash the steak which I had cut into strips. Took longer to cook the beansprouts than the steak

Dash or two of soy into the wok, jar of hoi sin over the steak, combine the lot on a plate and job's a goodun.

Chronic lack of colour so visually disappointing but nevertheless was absolutely delicious! Beansprouts crunchy, noodles tender but not sloppy, steak melt-in-the-mouth tender and for a jarred sauce, the hoi sin was spot on

Result!
