I agree. I found both series of 30 Days that I've seen absolutely fascinating tbh.

Moore is no saint and spins a story to make a watch able and provocative movie. If you write this effort off 'because it's Moore' then write off the propaganda you hear from the right too, which is harder to do because it comes out of the mouths of the US president

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of his, and you can't deny the US health system is apalling. I am really looking forward to seeing it.

I have SWM, but I have a freak copy. I might have the only copy of its kind in the world. You get 2/3rds through it and it's a full repeat of the first 1/3 again. So I never got to finish it .

I'm kinda with Mark on this. As much as there may be valid points in this and indeed F911, I just don't trust the guy enough to tolerate the 'facts' he puts on screen. That and I don't believe cinema should be used this way, but that's another debate.

I'm watching it now, I've heard from American friends how awful their insurance system is and asked one of them to say how well he thought this movie reflects their system and he said that he thinks it's pretty realistic.

What I don't like about Moore in this film is the way he continually played the "how much?" thing when he was talking to people outside of the US and showing surprise when he was told that the cost was zero. He keeps repeating things back to people and it's irritating!

I'm not a Moore fan in general, he uses very specific and tight editing to show his point but I think this is quite an eye opener to those who don't know what it's like over there. Conversely I expect it's an eye opener to those Americans who don't know what it's like in some other countries.
