I've changed what I'm going to do slightly - I'll put one to replace the slightly quieter but less air throughput onto my main HSF and one extra exhaust on the top. Ordered those today.
I've also fitted the fan you gave me Mark, thanks for that  Strangely enough it's only dropped the system temperature (which I always assumed was the NB) by 1C. I've got most of the fan covering most of the heatsink and blowing onto it.
