Anyone else agree with me that the scene in Waterloo is clearly the best scene in the film?

Yeah it is a pretty good scene - though how he buys a prepay phone so quickly and easily I still don't know

Saw this last night. It quite simply nails the Bournes as my all time favourite trilogy ever. Breathtaking tension and action, the crash scene when he's driving the cop car was amazing!

Didn't disappoint on any level, BRILLIANT!

The books are very very different. I read somewhere that the guy who wrote the screenplay for the second film hadn't read the book!

They're meant to be really good as well though.

The wiki page says:
Quote:
Jason Charles Bourne, real name David Webb, is a fictional character in the Bourne Trilogy novels written by Robert Ludlum and in two further sequels by Eric Van Lustbader.
He first appeared in The Bourne Identity (1980). This novel was adapted for both television in 1988 and a film by the same name in 2002. The character has since been in four more sequels and two other films.
So there are 2 authors over 5 books - could prove interesting

I'm hoping that now this film has been released some shop somewhere will do the 3 paperback books together or do a 3 for 2 or something

I read the first one, great, struggled with the second though.

I have to say that the books are good, you use your own interpretation. I think the screen writing captured the atmosphere Ludlum was set out to get. However of course, Ludlum's stories were set nearly 2 decades ago so the technology was somewhat different I'm a big Ludlum fan though.
