Nice

Never used Scan - use eBuyer for all my/our stuff - but may give them a try...eBuyer can be a bit slow to answer questions, although they are very good when they do - I mislaid a stick of RAM that I'd bought - I bought a Shuttle + RAM, had to send the Shuttle back, and must've left the RAM in it.

So then on top of paying the £17 special del cost, I also got sent replacement RAM with no questions asked, before they'd even received the Shuttle. Happy me!

I was impressed with the speed they processed my order. Put it all through on Monday night (bank holiday), and the order was in the house on Wednesday morning. Can't ask for more than that really

Same as beansprout i use eBuyer for almost everything now days, but i've never really had a problem with anyone thats been mahoosive or not been solved reasonably quickly. Scan/Tekheads/Wherever i'm happy to shop again. Only big problem i ever had was a Reserator was shipped to me with one of the barbas broken (not actually eBuyers fault). They said send it back but i weighs about 2tonnes so i told them that was silly, they then asked which day would i like it picking up free of charge () turned around in about a week i was shocked!

Oh, I forgot to say - Scan paid for and arranged pickup of my RMA. Just boxed it back up in the original box and packaging and a man from City Link turned up at the door to take it off me.

In truth, I've had a few slow RMAs due to manufacturers dragging their feet (most notably ASUS - whose support was virtually non-existant), and a few supply problems due to well-documented stock control issues at the time. Other than that, I've had no trouble with Dabs, eBuyer, Scan, OcUK, Komplett, Novatech, or the several others I've used over the years.

buy most of my stuff from scan. I've just ordered a load of stuff today for customers. One of the items is needed be tommorow. I rang them and asked them to change the priority to HIGH. I've just had a mail to state the order has been picked.

Their returns are excellent too. That said, I've never had any problems OCuk. They arranged the pickup of a faulty TFT. My only gripe with them is their prices are a little too high for some things.

Scan leave everyone I've ever used standing to be honest, though I've only ever had issues with 2 other companies. 1 was eBuyer who were messing me around a bit with some OCZ Ram a few years back, though they were always polite and tried to help, resulting in them putting a lock on the RAM so no one else could get some before mine went out. The other was Overclockers who were just all out abysmal on the phone, I was actually ready to go down to the Warehouse (from Redcar) and have it out with the ******* prick who I spoke to. ****.

Scan have been awesome for me. I know people have had no problems with over there, but I have and they suck. They quite literally do employ monkeys. I hate to say it but they are liars as well.

I think if you've had a problem where you have to phone OcUK you do realise just how useless they can actually be... The 0870 number boiled my blood the most because they connected you and left you on hold for literally hours... On the forum the put saynoto0870 in the word filter too funny enough
