Yeah, I get alot of people saying I wanna come!! but its not always so easy. Im hoping my best friend will come, and another very good friend of mine said he would come. I think it will help having someone in Thailand as even though its full of travellers it will be my first place to visit so il be dead nervous/shy at first plus I dont speak the language (even though I bet everyone knows English) but by the time I get to Aus I'd have come out of my shell and be an expert and chatting to randoms hehe
My 2nd cousins from NZ know im coming now, my relatives phoned them today as its his birthday and the first thing he said was "i hear holly is coming over!"

Definitely get in. LA is no loss at all, but got an oversized suitcase for the rest?
I don't need to tell you to have fun because I know you will. I don't think there's anywhere on that list I don't want to go to. The question is, will you want to come home at the end of it? PS - The flight back is knackering. At least you should get a few hours stopover (usually in Singapore or Thailand, depending on carrier). As I was on the same plane all the way, I had the choice of staying on board or getting off. No-brainer there. |

eeek! the countdown!! I need one of those time ticker sigs.
I told the MD at work today, god my heart was thudding when I was waiting for him to come over. Made it all really sink in !! Iv put out an add on Gumtree, seems quite useful as long as I dont attract weirdos, but sent an email to a nice sounding girl about my age wanting to go to Thailand. Going to visit my friend who went travelling sometime this week, so she can point me in the direction and as my inteniary starts coming together il post it on here, so people can add/comment/suggest things! The countdown: It is 147 days, 1 hour, 1 minute and 59 seconds until Monday, February 11 2008!! (the time of my flight)

I'm so very tempted to forget about buying a flat/house, saving up some money and taking 6 months off to do the travel thing again (I'd prefer to do it with someone... Paul?). I did it once broke as anything but it was amazing fun doing little pub jobs, teaching sailing, working on yachts (not doing IT, being a decky) and that sort of stuff, but if I can do it with a bit more money I'd love to do it again!
You're going to have SOOO much fun - it's so exciting. God I'm really very excited for you!!!
