Looks excellent
I have a question which has been on my mind for AGES and maybe I should know... Why do all Japanese girls do the 'V' sign in photos? More to the point.. why are you doing it? Thanks! BB x Last edited by BBx; 27-09-2007 at 13:53. |

Haha! Only just realised you're doing it in all three!
Looks grand though. (Japan, not your flagrant hand gestures!)

I always thought it was the Japanese copying the West (typically the USA) as it was considered a "cool" Western thing to do.

Sugoi! Random school girl store, is odd. Fishing with fire is cool! From a quicki wiki on Japan and the V sign. For me its always been an Anime thing.

Kyoto looks beautiful! Along with Fuji-san, it's on my to go list. Hopefully in October.
I'll still be in Japan for the first half of next year Pheebs, you should come. As for the doing V sign, it's fun. You should try it! I took the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagoya, it was very cool. Whereabouts do JapanAir and Kamikaze Pigeon live? I don't really see them here on boat drinks very often, but if they're close or I travel near them I could see if they wanted to go out for some japanese karaoke or some drinks! |
