What's all this cookie business? Are they used to track you from quidco, so if you already have a shops cookie, you might not be tracked properly?

Yep. If you read the FAQ bit on cookies, it tells you how to set up your browser and stuff

Right, here's one for you quidco-ers
I tried on saturday to get my home contents insurance with More Th>n, it went through fine apparently and Quidco have validated the £65 cashback I should get from it. Since then I've not had a confirmation email from more th>n and on calling them apparently my policy doesn't exist. I've ended up sorting out the insurance over the phone, I know that Quidco say they can't track when it's not done online but seeing as it had already been tracked and validated do you think that I will recieve the cashabck or will they remove the validation? I'm not sure whether to call quidco and see what they can do, or leave it and hope.

Unlikely you'll get it, but no harm in trying.

I don't think I'll get it the online system has 14-days to sort itself out before my cheque based cover has to be paid or I lose it
The bloke on the phone was great actually, I said I was using quidco and that I didn't particularly want to sort it out over the phone and he said fair enough - he'll sort out a cheque based cover that gives me 14 days to pay, but I'm covered as of the phone call. And hopefully the internet policy will sort itself out by then so I'll get the rebate.
