Avenue Q is brilliant!!! Then again I rather enjoy going to the theatre and shows in London that's about the only thing I like about this city (except getting to and from those places!).

Sorry you had some bad times, but that's to be expected really in such a big city, some places do suck - hard. Though I'm glad overall you had a pleasant day - afterall it was your birthday and that's what counts!

Oh yeah London hotels are dire unless you stay somewhere for muchos cash!

I really would love to do the whole "touristy" bit at some point but it is the cost of everything which is always the problem

LOL yeah yesterday cost a few pennies. Despite half price train tickets (4 for 2 offer); half price Imax (2 for 1 offer) and half price show tickets (from the kiosk at Leicester Square), we still blew about £70 each Think I'm going to be reminded of that for a while

I'm off for a weekend in Cardiff the end of the month, so when I go into London to meet up with my mate after he finishes work I should have time beforehand to pop in as I have the whole day off.

Oh, took a whole 1 pic

Your glasses are a bit big, innit!

My Mum and I want to explore London sometime. We don't know enough about it. We've chatted about seeing a play or something. Maybe this summer when I finish Uni.

I think I take London for granted living so close...

Hell... I didn't know where the Royal Albert Hall was till I went there last friday.. ha ha!

Glad you had a goodish time. London is expensive... one good reason to live here, because everywhere else is always cheap in comparison

Did you go for the Barnados(?) thing? My teacher friend took her lot there for that.

Yeah I did as it goes! One of Pebs's daughters was singing in it so I joined them.

Was a brilliant evening... never been to the RAH before.

There was a terrific band called Eclipse who played electronic string instruments and did a brill rendition of the A Team theme tune

I heard about the A team theme - quite suprising how many kids of today know all about the A team!
