The other trick is to stick it to the inside of your shoe/trainer/whatever in the summer and wear just shorts and a t-shirt.

Gets them going every single time!

I remember picking up a parcel from the post office and then going into tescos and setting off the alarms - it was something from play I think and they said sometimes even if there's no tag, the alarms will still go off.
