The omelette challenge on Saturday Kitchen is worth a watch, see what real chefs do. Not all of them rush it out and you see how a good plain omelette is made and it's actually quite nice by itself.

Tak, honestly that sounds difficult, but the key thing is just to not be scared and yeah maybe you'll feck it up, its beans that night from the microwave .
Because you're slow cooking the omlette with a lid it's very hard to dry it out or overcook really. Give it a whirl i think you'll be suprised as to how easy it is.

A normal omlette is a case of beating eggs together throwing in the hottest pan you dare, and folding in and letting the egg run into space, rinse repeat for a min or few, eventually fold, and eat. Yum!

I have around a dozen eggs a week minimum - I love the stuff, full of protein too which is goooooooood.

Omlettes are about the only thing I can cook! All great advice above but the biggest improvement I found in making them was by getting a proper teflon pan rather that the 20 year old hand-me-down one I had that things used to just stick to
