Cool, so once we have a list, we basically have a fortnight to cook and post?

Just wanted to get the facts straight, you know me

Think each fortnight the "list maker" should start a thread with the list in the first post and then all pics etc can be posted in the one thread...yay?...nay?...

Yay! Good idea so we can update as and when.

I bloody hope not... that game gave me nightmares

(Basically above I was saying I didn't want to be a listmaker, but will post as and when I get round to cooking something )

As its fortnightly then I see no harm in a new thread for each "round". There will be a new thread started by whoevers turn it is every fortnight, and yeah it would be beneficial to have the last one all done and dusted by then but its not going to be a hard and fast thing.

One thing I would suggest is that the primary ingredient (whatever it may be) is in the post title. So for example for my turn it might be:

"BDRSK - DRZ - Beef"

That way it will make looking back for things a bit easier in future.

I do want to stress that its NOT a competition, there is no winners and there is no prize Just so that there is no confusion re rounds and people joining in as and when - its all good

i agree, defniately no competitiveness, just good to get our creative cooking juices flowing and hopefully inspire other people too.

So if the main ingrediant is something someone can't deal with (like me and veal for instance) then they can sit out of the round.

And yeah I think a new thread per round is good.

I'd like to have a go at this. I won't be able to participate whilst I'm on the rig, obviously but I'd be keen to have a go when I'm home.

Shall we have a list of cupboard/fridge items or shall we just trust people to be sensible about what they use?

I am going with sensible It doesn't really matter if someone uses some butter or salt or oil in the cooking and not include it in the list, same goes for herbs and stuff. Things like wine and stuff might be borderline, it will be up to the person doing the buying. If they have it in then fair enough but if they are buying it specifically then perhaps not.

Right, im off to the shops as I have not long got in from a meeting!
