I am partial to a few variants.. I always have a jar of Lift Peach Tea around, which is a bit of a comfort drink for me for various reasons. Other than that I prefer Sainsbury's Red Label as an ordinary tea with milk and no sugar, and from Twinings: Earl Grey, Lady Grey with a hint of Orange (gorgeous stuff), and as a relaxing drink Green Tea with Orange and Lotus Flower, all of which are drunk sans milk.

I love coffee and like the occasional tea. Regular herbal teas tend to be full of artificial flavours so I'm not keen on those, however I have found these teas:
http://www.goldentemple.nl/yogitea_gb/home_gb.html very nice indeed. No artificial ingredients at all.

I quite like mint tea - in fact I drink lots of it in Cyprus, it's very refreshing and helps digestion after a rich meal. Jasmine teas is nice too.
However for day to day drinking english breakfast-type is what I tend to go for. From time to time I do like mixtures of teas (dried tea leaves rather than bags) of Asam, Lapsang suchong, darjeeling etc... Earl grey is nice at times too.

I tend to start the day with Twinings English breakfast (in a 1 pint insulated mug). Through the day I will drink either Assam, Darjeeling, Earl Grey or Jasmine depending on my mood.
All of the above are made with loose leaves - mostly Twinings 'cos they make damned good tea. When I'm at work, I don't drink much tea because we don't get fresh milk on the rig - I do have the odd cup of earl grey as that doesn't need milk (I usually have some bags with me). I drink mostly filter coffee (not instant, it sucks) on the rig as it's readily available and I usually drink it black (I will have creamer occasionally since the creamer on the rig is actually quite good).

I've been drinking green tea/ jasmine tea for a while now and buy mine from Nothing But Tea http://www.nbtea.co.uk/index.php
I particularly like; Red Lychee Balls and Jade Bamboo. I also drink White and Green teas but the light jasmine teas are my fav. What you have to remember is that not all of them are good with water at 100 degrees C, the Jade Bamboo I have is much much better with water at about 80 degrees. Aitch drinks quite a lot of fruit teas, Chai and Roiboos but its not really my kind of thing. MB |

Builder's tea for me in the morning and daytime. Either gold label, PG Tips or Tetley etc but I've gone clean off red label. I think it's our water more than anything, just makes a grotty tasting cuppa. Straight out of the Thames it is, poos and all.
I like Jasmine tea with a Chinese meal and it's good for killing a hangover and if I'm ill then peppermint tea goes down well. Not really a fan of green tea, don't like the bitter tanin taste.

I like my superbrew At my old work my boss and I would do a superbrew every afternoon. 10 bags in the teapot (instead of the usual 3-4) and brewed for 7 minutes. It had lumps in it
oh and we never cleaned the teapot |

My colleague at work has literally one splash of milk in her de-caf tea and thats it :/ doesn't wash her cup up till the end of the week.
De cafe tasted like muddy water to me There was a guy who drank coffee all the time in my last job - he got REALLY mad when I washed up his Star Trek mug BB x |
