My dad is offering them (on my behalf) the same £6000 as the garage. He's confident they'd rather sell to a genuine buyer.

Going to see it on Saturday, but I can't think of a reason not to get it. It'd have to be a pretty poor drive to turn them down at this point. Like you say, complete bargain. One of those deals that only comes from knowing someone who knows someone, and you'd regret not going for it.

I very very much doubt you'll be disapointed with the drive, the MINI drives very well if you like go kart handling. You'll find you lose confidence in yourself before you lose it in the car.

It is the same colour as mine although mine has a white roof rather than black

You could sell that tomorrow and make £2k or you could keep it and enjoy every second of being in the car even when its stationary, mine still makes me smile every time I drive it
