It's worse with Paypal. I wanted to buy stuff off fleabay recently but my Paypal account was broken so I made another one. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me use the same account I use for the original account (fixed now btw) and that's the only one with a debit card.
I had to transfer cash from my SO/DD account into my temporary second Paypal account and it took 9 ****ing days to get from my bank account to my Paypal account It's a good job the stuff I was buying was from an ebay shop and was permanently on sale. :****er::****er::****er: What's the crack with the quick transfer thing then? Do you pay a fee for that and the long transfers are still free or what? I do remember hearing something about it a while back but didn't really pay attention.

The trouble is that I budgeted all this week for getting a certain amount of cash out of the cashpoint each day so that I'd have what I need tomorrow - Now I'm going to have to go into a branch tomorrow and that's quite inconvenient.
I phoned the bank and they have no record of anything coming in

Quick transfers are free but only supported by, and between certain banks.
