Didn't I say that to you earlier?
*shakes fist* No it wasn't This year feels bigger to me than last year, just seem to be more games I want than last year. Or at least more games that I've got caught up in the hype for

I was always interested, but I wasn't sold. It was an ambitious project and I was interested in knowing what it was going to offer that hadn't been seen before - the co-op sells it for me. It would be the perfect game for you and your daughter.
It has almost limitless potential. I was torn between this or Gears of War 2, I think it's more of a joint top - but I just fancied putting a PS3 game top of the pile - it needs some love. |

In the past we've had plenty of games released together, but a fair portion of those would be average-to-good games, where as the majority of these would be game of the month winners in any other month. |

There can never be too many quality games out IMO. Whether I can afford them or not, having them available to buy or rent is ideal at Christmas time. I'm just lucky that I always seem to find a way to afford all the games I want this time of year (it helps having a birthday in the middle of the busiest gaming time of the year).

Yeah, I wondered at that being number 1, after playing the beta I cancelled the pre-order
As for Resistance 2, mehhh, I've played the beta and I'll say I'm really not that impressed with what I've seen there either. Sounds like I'm hating on Sony which I'm not, but the two games I thought I'd definitely be buying for my barely used PS3 I won't be bothering with now so it's still limited to DVD and Blu-Ray duties. |

I've not played the betas, all too often they have let me down. Seems odd to say, but I've only ever played one that was like the final game and that was EVE.
I don't think you're hating on Sony as their exclusives have let a lot of people down massively, me included. |

It's a shame really as I was genuinely looking forward to those two games, maybe I'll check them out in the New Year once I've played through everything else that I'm looking forward to more. |

I do feel for Sony in a way as they hype their exclusives like no one else and they keep getting beaten by 360 exclusives or in most cases, multi-format games which run better on 360.
