I love Beyonce's new song, it's great. I also like Alesha Dixon's.
Most recent song I don't understand is 'Chasing Pavements', but that's down to having one of the worst song titles ever. |

Hmmmmm i think you're all getting old, i love just about all the songs mentioned in this thread, and more so for their moronic lyrics Relax have a drink (ok i mean get drunk) and you'll think they're awesome too
Current charts are amazing i think though bar a few xfactor entrants or whatever... |

Bumping an old thread because I've just heard a couple of songs that are inexplicable.
Shakira's Whenever, Wherever was on again for the first time in years and I rediscovered the gem of a stupid lyric that is "lucky my breasts are small and humble, so that you don't confuse them with mountains". Why is this a big issue for young Shakira, was there ever a significant worry that her breasts might be mistaken for mountains? Because with the greatest of respect I can't ever imagine not being able to identify them as mammaries. What is the presumably terrible result that occurs if you do confuse them with mountains? The tone is rather foreboding so it suggests that some horrific fate befalls those who make this egregious error and I can't stop wondering what it can be. 3OH!3 with Don't Trust Me is another that I'm rather stumped by "if he says he's got beef, I'm a vegetarian and I'm ain't ******* scared of him". It's a complete non-sequiteur, one does not logically follow the other so why should we be concerned about his dietary habits? Are vegetarians normally scared individuals? Why is the singer trifling with someone elses ladyfriend?
